Words from Wolfgang

Wow, we are so behind on posting on this blog!!  Mommy thought about doing a whole new website for us while she was home this summer, but decided it would take too much time to update, so instead we will get back to posting on here.  Since our friends see us on Facebook, we haven't spent time sharing here, but Mommy says she will try to do better!

I was allowed to do the blog post this time since I have to take it easy again after another leg surgery.  Mommy said this will be the LAST one, hopefully!  The vet took out the pins and plate that they used to fix my leg a few years ago and I have four more weeks before I can run and play again.  I can't WAIT!!  I love sitting on laps, but I miss playing with Tia, Dinky and Zoe (especially ZOE!).

Here I am right after they did the surgery.  As you can see, the cast is VERY BIG and it was heavy too!!

Fortunately, Daddy held me quite a bit!  That made me feel LOTS better! (Thanks, Daddy!)

Zoe watched over me too, to make sure I was okay.  Zoe is a good sister : )

As you can see, I'm ready to be able to run and play and I'm trying to let Mommy know that!

I have the cast OFF now (Yippee!!) and in less than 4 weeks I'll be running Chihuahua races with my sisters and brother again.

Chistmas 2010 - Posted by Wolfgang

Mommy tried to get all four of us in the picture, but Dinky didn't cooperate! Since I've been practicing my reading, I chose the right stocking, so I get to write the Christmas post :)

Dinky showed up to see what was in his stocking, but Zoe and Tia had already nabbed all the biscuits. Mommy gave us another one after we finished with our stocking though :)

Tia checked out Dinky's stocking.

And so did I.

Then Tia looked in her own stocking
And so did I. Hey, she's the head Chihuahua around here and we ALL follow her lead!

Finally, Zoe decided to take one of the new toys off to the other room to play.

Here's Mommy's favorite picture of the day. I'm asking Dinky very politely if I might look at his new stuffed carrot (yes, he let me play with it!).

Zoe and I had a wonderful first Christmas. We had nice big bowls of chicken for dinner and are planning some serious play time with our new toys before bed.

We hope our readers had a wonderful Christmas and Tia, Dinky, Zoe and I all send wishes for a wonderful New Year in 2011.

Merry Christmas from all 4 of us!!

Mommy put us in charge of the Christmas cards this year and this is what we created.

We've been extra good little Chihuahuas this year so are very excited to see what Santa Paws will bring us in our stockings. We'll post Christmas pictures this weekend.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all our readers.

Zoe talks about Thanksgiving 2010

We all enjoyed our week with Mommy home! I shared Mommy with the others very nicely most of the time. I avoided getting spayed (at least for the time being) because the vet says I have something called a heart arrhythmia. I might have to go to a specialist or even get a pacemaker. Since the vet said I didn't have it before, he is going to check me out again next month and see what's going on. I know Mommy is worried about me, especially since she's worrying about Daddy's medical issues now too, but I gave her extra cuddles and nose licks to make her feel better.

We spent lots of time snoozing in the sunshine . . .

My hidden camera caught Dinky and Wolfgang plotting
how to get a larger share of the food while I was sleeping . .

We did take time to be thankful for Mommy and Daddy who love us and pamper us and give us lots of food and treats, our nice warm beds, our toys, and each other. Wolfie and I are especially lucky to have been rescued and have such a wonderful life with our sister Tia and brother Dinky. Mommy says Christmas is next and it is Wolfie and my first Christmas so I know it will be very special!

Wolfgang and Dinky Star in "The Bark"

Dinky and I are quite proud of our first co-starring roles. However, more effort will need to be expended on script for our next production, so our barking talents can be fully appreciated by our audience.

Rescued Me - The Video

Occasionally, the Chihuahuas let me, their human owner, post on their blog. Today I wanted to share the YouTube video I created with love for my beautiful pets.

Although Zoe and Wolfgang were rescues, pet owners will be able to relate to the fact that most days, my dogs rescue ME.

Summer Update from Zoe

I won the right to do the next blog entry and I'm quite excited to be here speaking to all you wonderful people in Internet-land. I am Zoe Esmeralda Chihuahua and I just celebrated my first birthday in May. Mommy says that the four of us will be taking turns writing the blog and posting pictures here since the web site it taking her too much time. All our friends see our pictures on Facebook now so we can keep you up-to-date with everything else about us here.

We've been VERY busy today barking at the fireworks. Tia doesn't bark at them but the rest of us sure do!! Mommy calls us her little quartet! In between barking, we have lots of playing to do, especially now that Wolfgang can run and play with us again!

Here's Wolfie and me playing

Tug of War is one of our favorite games!

All the playing tires us out though and then we have to take a little siesta.

Sometimes, all four of us try to nap together but it's tough with these small beds . . .

Wolfgang will be in charge of the next update, so be sure to check back!
